Hexarelin

Not FDA Approved⛔ WADA Banned

HEX / EP-23905 / Examorelin

hormonalEmergingGrowth hormone secretagogue / Ghrelin receptor agonist

Synthetic hexapeptide GH secretagogue, the most potent GHRP for GH release. Developed by Europeptides. Produces the largest GH pulse of any GHRP. Cardiac regenerative potential demonstrated in preclinical models. WADA banned. Significant cortisol and prolactin elevation with chronic use — limits long-term utility.

Mechanism of Action

Potent agonist at GHS-R1a → maximal GH release via Gq/11-PLC-IP3-Ca2+ pathway. Also activates cardiac CD34+ stem cells via CD36 receptor → cardiac regeneration. Elevates cortisol and prolactin (dose-dependent). Stronger GH release than GHRP-6 and GHRP-2. Desensitization occurs with chronic use (tachyphylaxis).

Dosing Protocol

100-200μg SC, 2-3x daily (fasting). Due to desensitization, limit to 4-8 week cycles with 4+ week breaks. Often paired with CJC-1295.
